Rich medium blue, sort of half way between Swiss Blue and London Blue Topaz in color. The stone measures 9x7mm oval, and includes a "sew on" style setting in your choice of metals - either high quality silver or gold plated prong settings. The settings have 2 holes on 2 sides of the setting. The settings are technically an octagon setting, but the stones fit fabulously, and you wouldn't know that unless someone told you that - which I just did :)) Oddly enough, these would NOT fit in any oval setting I have, O.o
